📋 Role Overview
As a LinkedIn Outreach Specialist, you'll be the frontline ambassador for TyLearn Africa. Your mission is to connect with final-year university students and recent graduates on LinkedIn, build genuine relationships, and help them discover how TyLearn can bridge their skills gap and launch their careers.
What you'll do
- Send 50-100 personalized LinkedIn connection requests daily to target audience (final-year students, recent grads 0-2 years out)
- Engage with prospects through authentic conversations about their career challenges
- Share TyLearn courses and value proposition when appropriate
- Track and report metrics (connections, conversations, click-throughs, enrollments)
- Provide feedback on messaging that works vs. doesn't
- Build a network of engaged prospects over time
Target Audience
- Primary: Final-year university students (CS, Engineering, Business, etc.)
- Secondary: Recent graduates (0-2 years post-graduation) who are underemployed or job hunting
- Geographic Focus: Kenya (Nairobi, Kiambu, Nakuru, Mombasa)
- Universities: Kenyatta University, University of Nairobi, JKUAT, Strathmore, etc.
📊 What success looks like (Weekly targets)
- 350-700 connection requests sent (50-100 daily)
- 30-50% connection acceptance rate
- 100-200 meaningful conversations initiated
- 20-40 click-throughs to your referral link
- 3-6 course enrollments per week (conservative target)

Essential
- Active personal LinkedIn account (at least 200 connections preferred)
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- 2-3 hours available daily (flexible timing)
- Excellent written communication in English
- Understanding of Kenyan job market and graduate challenges
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Based in Kenya (to understand local context)
Preferred
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or student recruitment
- University student or recent graduate (you understand the audience)
- Active on social media and comfortable with digital communication
- Experience with LinkedIn networking
- Understanding of tech/remote work opportunities

How it works
- You receive a unique referral link (e.g.,
tylearn.africa/enroll?ref=YOURNAME) - Every student who enrolls through your link is tracked automatically
- You receive 500 KES commission for each successful enrollment
- Payments processed monthly (by 5th of following month)
- Real-time dashboard shows your clicks, conversions, and earnings
Example tracking
- Week 1: 5 enrollments = 2,500 KES earned
- Week 2: 8 enrollments = 4,000 KES earned
- Week 3: 6 enrollments = 3,000 KES earned
- Week 4: 7 enrollments = 3,500 KES earned
- Monthly total: 26 enrollments = 13,000 KES commission + 10,000 KES base = 23,000 KES
⏰ Work Schedule & Flexibility
Required
