TyLearn Africa is building the future of AI skills education in East Africa, and we need enthusiastic Chat Moderators to help connect students with life-changing learning opportunities. If you love helping people, enjoy technology, and want flexible remote work, this role is perfect for you!

As a Chat Moderator, you'll be the friendly first point of contact for prospective students visiting our website. You'll answer questions, provide course information, and guide visitors toward the AI training programs that best fit their goals. This is more than customer support—you're helping people discover skills that can change their careers within weeks.

What You'll Do

• Respond promptly to chat inquiries from website visitors and prospective students
• Provide detailed information about TyLearn's AI courses, pricing, and career outcomes
• Guide students through the course selection and enrollment process
• Address common questions about course content, duration, and requirements
• Escalate complex inquiries to the appropriate team members
• Maintain friendly, professional, and encouraging communication
• Track frequently asked questions and suggest improvements to our messaging
• Help create a welcoming and supportive environment for all visitors

What We're Looking For

• Excellent written communication skills in English (Swahili is a bonus!)
• Fast and accurate typing skills
• Friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful personality
• Basic understanding of AI, technology, or willingness to learn quickly
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations
• Reliable internet connection and personal computer/laptop
• Available for flexible shifts including some evenings and weekends

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service or chat support experience is a plus
• Familiarity with online learning platforms is beneficial
• No specific degree required—we value attitude and aptitude!

• Availability for 15-25 hours per week
