These terms govern your participation in our 90-day skills transformation programs and job placement services across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and other African markets we serve.
Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in TyLearn Africa programs, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
You also agree to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.
If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use our platform and services.
Eligibility and Registration
Students must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to enroll in TyLearn Africa programs.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities under your account.
Each registration is for individual use only; accounts cannot be shared or transferred.
Program Commitment and Requirements
Our 90-day skills transformation programs require consistent engagement and completion of all required coursework, projects, and assessments.
Students must meet minimum performance standards to qualify for job placement guarantees.
Active participation in community events, mentorship sessions, and networking opportunities is expected.
You must have access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer and reliable internet connectivity to participate fully.
Job Placement Guarantee
TyLearn Africa guarantees job placement to students who successfully complete their program and meet performance standards.
The guarantee applies to employment opportunities within our verified employer network across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Students must actively participate in the job placement process, including interviews and employer engagements.
While we guarantee placement opportunities, specific job roles, salaries, and locations depend on market conditions and employer requirements.
Students who decline reasonable job offers without valid reasons may forfeit their placement guarantee.
Payments and Subscriptions
Program fees are clearly stated at enrollment and must be paid according to agreed payment schedules.
We offer flexible payment options including M-PESA, mobile money, and income share agreements.
All payments are processed securely through verified payment providers.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes, transaction fees, or charges from your payment provider.
Refund policies are outlined separately and depend on program stage and circumstances.
Intellectual Property
All course content, materials, videos, and resources are the intellectual property of TyLearn Africa and our partners.
Students may access and use materials for personal learning but cannot reproduce, distribute, or commercialize them.
Projects and work created by students during the program belong to the students, unless created for employer partners.
You grant TyLearn Africa permission to showcase your success stories and project work (with consent) for marketing purposes.
Code of Conduct
Students must maintain professional behavior in all interactions with instructors, mentors, peers, and employer partners.
Plagiarism, cheating, or dishonest practices are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate dismissal.
Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior toward any community member will not be tolerated.
Students must respect the community guidelines and contribute positively to the TyLearn Africa learning environment.
Platform Usage and Restrictions
You may not use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purposes.
You may not attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise the security of the platform.
Automated access, scraping, or data extraction from the platform is prohibited.
Account sharing, credential selling, or unauthorized access to others' accounts is strictly forbidden.
Limitation of Liability
TyLearn Africa provides skills training and job placement facilitation but cannot guarantee specific employment outcomes, salaries, or career progression.
We are not responsible for employment decisions made by partner companies or employment relationships beyond initial placement.
Platform availability may be affected by technical issues, maintenance, or circumstances beyond our control.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use.
Termination and Suspension
TyLearn Africa reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms or inappropriate conduct.
Students may withdraw from programs subject to our withdrawal and refund policies.
Upon termination, access to platform resources and employer network may be revoked.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through good faith negotiations first.
If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to arbitration or mediation in Kenya.
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya and applicable international regulations.
Changes to Terms & Conditions
TyLearn Africa may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices.
Significant changes will be communicated through email and platform notifications.
Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
